Bluebeard
Bluebeard opened in 2012 in a renovated 1924 warehouse in Indianapolis's historic Holy Rosary neighborhood, named after the Kurt Vonnegut novel as a nod to the Indianapolis native's legacy. The restaurant is the most James Beard-decorated in Indianapolis — earning semifinalist recognition for Best New Restaurant in its first year and repeated nominations through 2026 — and serves scratch-made New American cuisine alongside bread baked daily at its in-house bakery, Amelia's.
