Bonnie Brae Ice Cream has been a beloved Denver neighborhood institution since 1986, founded by two couples — Ken and Judy Simon and Bob and Cindy Pailet — on land that has been in the Simon family for over 70 years. Recognized by the City of Denver as a Legacy Business in 2024, it is considered the oldest ice cream parlor under continuous ownership in Denver. The shop makes its ice cream in small batches on-site and offers over 120 flavors, plus 36 sherbets and sorbets and 12 vegan options.
