Bûcheron, which means 'lumberjack' in French, is a 38-seat bistro in Minneapolis's Kingfield neighborhood opened by Chef Adam Ritter and hospitality director Jeanie Janas Ritter, alumni of acclaimed restaurants in Singapore, Northern California, and Chicago. The restaurant won the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in 2025, earning national recognition for its 'French Midwest' cuisine that pairs classical bistronomy technique with local Midwestern ingredients.
