Cane Rosso is a Dallas-based Neapolitan pizzeria founded by Jay Jerrier in 2011 in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, earning certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana for its wood-fired pies cooked at 900 degrees in under 90 seconds. The restaurant won Pizza Today's 2017 Independent Pizzeria of the Year award, was named Best Pizza in Dallas by D Magazine from 2011 through 2015, and ranked No. 17 on a national list of America's top pizzerias in 2025. Beyond pizza, Cane Rosso operates its own dog rescue nonprofit, Cane Rosso Rescue, and has grown to nine DFW locations.
