Chai Pani Decatur

Chai Pani Decatur brings the vibrant Indian street food vision of James Beard Award-winning chef Meherwan Irani to Metro Atlanta, opening in March 2013 as the second outpost of his nationally acclaimed Chai Pani brand. The restaurant specializes in chaat and the cuisine of India's Deccan Plateau — the region where Irani grew up — and is one of the few Indian restaurants recommended in the Atlanta Michelin Guide. Head chef Sahar Siddiqi has earned a James Beard Best Chef: Southeast nomination, and the restaurant appears on The New York Times list of America's Favorite Restaurants.
