Chili's

Chili's Grill & Bar was founded on March 13, 1975, by Larry Lavine in a converted postal station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas, where it helped define the American casual dining category with affordable burgers and a relaxed atmosphere. Lavine sold the chain to Norman Brinker in 1983, and under Brinker International's leadership Chili's expanded its menu with iconic items like baby back ribs and fajitas while growing to over 1,600 locations worldwide. The brand remains headquartered in the Dallas area and is one of the most recognized casual dining chains in the United States.
