Born during the COVID-19 pandemic in October 2020, Curry Boys BBQ in San Antonio's Tobin Hill neighborhood is a celebrated fusion concept combining Texas-style smoked BBQ with Southeast Asian curries, created by restaurateurs Andrew Ho, Sean Wen, and Andrew Samia. The restaurant — housed in a distinctive pink building nicknamed the 'Pink Palace' — earned James Beard Award semifinalist nominations in both 2023 and 2024 for Best Chef: Texas. Yelp ranked it among the top five best restaurants in the state of Texas.
