Dough Pizzeria Napoletana was opened in San Antonio in November 2007 by Doug and Lori Horn, bringing one of the city's first authentic Neapolitan pizza concepts to Texas. The restaurant's wood-burning Italian ovens cook pies at over 900 degrees in 90 seconds alongside house-pulled mozzarella and Kimbo coffee imported from Naples. Dough earned national recognition with a feature on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives in 2011 and has since expanded to multiple San Antonio locations.
