A Black-owned Houston institution since 2015, Dream Wings built its reputation on lemon pepper wings that regulars describe as the best in the city: available naked, breaded, or boneless, in wet, semi-dry, or dry preparations. The outdoor patio is BYOB and cash-friendly, drawing a neighborhood crowd that returns weekly for jerk, honey garlic, and the citrus-forward lemon pepper that made the truck famous. The operation has expanded from its food truck roots into a permanent patio location near Heights.
