The Franklin Fountain in Old City is a meticulously recreated turn-of-the-century soda fountain serving house-made Philadelphia-style ice creams, spectacular sundaes, and hand-jerked sodas from an original 1905 marble fountain. Brothers Ryan and Eric Berley operate the parlor from a building dating to 1898, crafting flavors from scratch with historical candy selections alongside. It has won Best of Philly awards from Philadelphia Magazine multiple times.
