Futo Buta

Futo Buta is Charlotte's most beloved ramen house, founded by Chef Michael Shortino in South End and celebrated for its deeply developed tonkotsu broth simmered for over 18 hours. The menu offers traditional and inventive ramen builds including spicy miso, shoyu, and rotating seasonal bowls, alongside Japanese small plates and an excellent sake and cocktail list. It has been a cornerstone of South End dining since opening.
