Il Lazzarone is a family-owned Neapolitan pizzeria founded by Erik Borger, with roots in St. Joseph, MO and locations now in Kansas City's River Market. Certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, the restaurant uses a 6,000-pound wood-fired Acunto oven imported from Naples to cook authentic pies in 90 seconds, featuring DOP San Marzano tomatoes and freshly made fior de latte mozzarella.
