Ima Izakaya is a James Beard-nominated Japanese izakaya steps from Michigan Central Station in Corktown, housed in a historic building dating to 1889. The menu features multiple ramen styles including miso, seafood kimchi, and forest ramen alongside hand-rolled sushi, udon noodles, house-made dumplings, and one of the only robata grills in the Detroit area. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM with discounted drinks and small plates. The flagship of the Ima Hospitality family, with additional Ima Noodles locations across Metro Detroit.
