Killen's Barbecue

Ronnie Killen's Pearland barbecue operation is one of the most celebrated in the greater Houston area, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand and appearing on virtually every serious Texas BBQ list. The beef ribs, sourced from Snake River Farms and smoked out back, are a single-meal-sized achievement: silken with smoke, salt, fat, and pepper. Brisket and pork ribs are equally strong. About 25 minutes south of central Houston, it is worth every mile.
