Leatherby's Family Creamery

Leatherby's Family Creamery was founded in Sacramento, California in 1982 by Dave and Sally Leatherby, with the Utah franchise locations opening beginning in 1984 and becoming a beloved Salt Lake Valley institution. Each location makes small-batch ice cream on-site in nearly 30 regular flavors plus seasonal offerings, served in generous portions that have made the creamery a destination for family celebrations across Utah for over 40 years. Long weekend lines are a consistent feature at the Draper and Taylorsville locations.
