Li Wah Restaurant was established in 1991 by Donna Hom at Cleveland's Asia Plaza, building on the Hom family's decades of experience in Chinese dining that began with their King Wah restaurant in Rocky River in 1973. The largest tea house in Northeast Ohio, Li Wah is celebrated for its traditional cart-style dim sum service featuring har gow, shu mai, and char siu bao, as well as an extensive Cantonese seafood menu. Scene Magazine named Li Wah the Best Chinese Restaurant in Cleveland in 2019.
