Founded on December 24, 2011 by restaurateur Matthew Kuscher in Miami's Coconut Grove, LoKal was the first restaurant in Miami-Dade County to run entirely on clean, renewable wind and solar energy. The menu spotlights Florida grass-fed burgers sourced from Fort McCoy Ranch and freshly ground in-house daily, paired with an extensive local craft beer selection. LoKal has earned multiple Miami New Times Best Of Awards, including Best Burger in 2016 and Best Restaurant in Coconut Grove in 2014.
