Mad Pie is a Kakaako neighborhood pizzeria in Honolulu, opened in 2025 by James Orlando — a longtime Oahu farmers market pizza vendor known for his Fatto a Mano pop-up — serving 18-inch naturally leavened sourdough pies from a 10-year-old starter. The menu spans classic red-sauce pies, white-base options like the fungo mushroom bechamel pizza, and housemade desserts including cannolis from pastry chef Samantha Fannon. Since opening, Mad Pie has quickly been called the best pizza in Hawaii by multiple local reviewers.
