Maskaras

Maskaras Mexican Grill is a lucha libre-themed taqueria in Dallas's Oak Cliff neighborhood, opened in 2016 by Jalisco native Rodolfo Jimenez to serve the street food of his hometown rather than Tex-Mex. The restaurant is celebrated for its birria — available as a stew, soft street tacos, or crispy quesabirria — as well as tacos ahogados and the signature Taco Maskaras loaded with shrimp and molten cheese. Texas Monthly featured Maskaras in a taqueria spotlight, and it has been listed among the top 50 best restaurants in Dallas.
