Mola

Mola is a sushi and Asian cuisine restaurant established in 2018 in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood, founded by Alex Tang, who draws inspiration from his mother's and grandmother's cooking to bring edomae-style hand rolls, bao, and rice bowls to Pittsburgh. The restaurant uses crispy nori and warm sushi rice, sources the freshest available fish through close vendor relationships, and serves handcrafted bubble tea made with real tea leaves and freshly prepared tapioca. Mola's creative menu also includes steamed dumplings, dessert bao, and mochi ice cream.
