NiHao is a Sichuan Chinese restaurant in Baltimore's Canton neighborhood, opened in July 2020 under celebrated chef Peter Chang — formerly chef at the Chinese embassy in Washington, D.C. — and operated by his daughter Lydia Chang. Named one of Esquire's best new restaurants in 2020 and a James Beard Awards semifinalist in 2022, NiHao is known for signature dishes like grandma braised pork belly, Szechuan popcorn chicken, and Peking duck.
