Pho 777 in Salt Lake City is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant opened in 2018 by Thé Trương and Thuỷ Lâm, immigrants who arrived in Utah in 1990 and spent decades building careers in the local restaurant industry before opening their own place. The restaurant earned recognition as best pho in Salt Lake County from Gastronomic SLC in 2023 and a Best of SLC 2024 award, celebrated for its from-scratch broth seasoned with black cardamom, star anise, and cinnamon.
