Sado is the second restaurant from acclaimed St. Louis chef Nick Bognar, who earned Food & Wine Best New Chef honors in 2020 and multiple James Beard Award nominations, including Rising Star Chef of the Year. Opened on The Hill — St. Louis's historic Italian neighborhood — Sado was named to Esquire's Best New Restaurants in America list and received a James Beard Best New Restaurant semifinalist nomination in 2024. The restaurant is known for chill-aged nigiri and an omakase experience called the Pavilion.
