SAWs BBQ

SAW's BBQ was founded in May 2009 in Homewood, Alabama by Mike Wilson, a Johnson & Wales-trained chef who had worked as a test-kitchen chef for Cooking Light magazine. The name is an acronym of Wilson's high school nickname. Southern Living named SAW's the best barbecue in Alabama, and Men's Journal ranked it among the 25 best barbecue restaurants in America, making it a celebrated Birmingham institution now continued by Wilson's family after his passing in 2020.
