Silk Road is an elevated dim sum restaurant in Houston, opened by owner Siri Lao, whose parents were street vendors in northern Thailand, and Chef Thawatchai Insingha, whose more than 26 years of experience includes work at Yutingyuan at the Four Seasons Bangkok — Thailand's first and only Michelin-starred Cantonese concept. Located inside a Courtyard by Marriott near Rice University, the restaurant celebrates Thai-Chinese culinary heritage through handcrafted dim sum and an extensive tea program sourced from northern Thailand.
