Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, located at 62 W Center St in downtown Provo, Utah, is a franchise of the brand founded in 2004 by Jerry and Naomi Hancock using a liquid nitrogen flash-freezing process Jerry developed from his chemistry background at Brigham Young University. The concept, which appeared on ABC's Shark Tank in 2013, allows customers to watch their custom ice cream frozen in seconds at -320°F, with over a trillion possible flavor combinations.
