Taco Bus

Taco Bus was founded in 1996 by Chef René Valenzuela, who converted a yellow school bus into a taqueria on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa's Seminole Heights neighborhood, pioneering food truck culture in the region years before it became a national trend. Featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and named one of the top 25 food trucks in the U.S. by BuzzFeed, the operation has grown to eight Tampa Bay area locations.
