Tank House BBQ and Bar is a family-owned barbecue restaurant that opened in August 2013 at 1925 J Street in Midtown Sacramento. Its name pays tribute to a historic water tank structure built in 1881 that stands on the property, and the restaurant is known for smoked BBQ, local craft beers on draft, and a full bar with outdoor patio seating beside the historic tank. Tank House was voted number one for BBQ in the 2017 Sacramento Magazine Best of Sacramento survey.
