The Brisket Shoppe opened in 2021 at 3501 N Armenia Ave in West Tampa, founded by Danny Hernandez, whose family previously operated Pipo's Cuban Café locations across Tampa. Hernandez slow-smokes certified Angus beef prime brisket and hand-crafted sausages over native Florida wood in a 1,000-gallon pit, incorporating Cuban-inspired sides like tostones and moros that reflect the neighborhood's deep Hispanic heritage.
