The Honey Paw opened in 2015 on Portland, Maine's Middle Street, created by James Beard Award-winning chefs Andrew Taylor and Mike Wiley alongside Arlin Smith—the team behind Eventide Oyster Co. and Hugo's. The restaurant bills itself as a nondenominational noodle bar, drawing on Southeast Asian culinary traditions while incorporating Maine-sourced ingredients, and was a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best New Restaurant.
