Truth BBQ

Truth BBQ was founded by self-taught pitmaster Leonard Botello IV, who opened the original location in Brenham, Texas in 2015, initially selling just three briskets a day from a small roadside shack. Botello opened the Houston Heights location in January 2019, and the restaurant has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand designation and ranked in the top three on Texas Monthly's 2021 Top 50 BBQ list.
