Uncle Lous Fried Chicken

Uncle Lou's Fried Chicken was founded in 2001 by Lou Martin in South Memphis, built around a family recipe passed down from his great-grandmother. The restaurant gained national attention after appearing on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2008, which transformed it from a struggling local spot into a beloved destination drawing customers from more than 60 countries. Its signature sauce, originally called 'Corruption' and rechristened 'Sweet Spicy Love' by Guy Fieri, remains the restaurant's calling card.
