Uncle Ramen

Uncle Ramen refers to Uncle, the Denver ramen institution founded by Tommy Lee in the Highlands neighborhood around 2012, which operates under the domain uncleramen.com. Lee, a self-taught cook of Hong Kong heritage, built the restaurant's reputation on inventive broths including his accidental chicken ramen creation — a spicy sesame broth with tahini, soy sauce, and chili oil. The concept expanded to a second location in West Wash Park in 2019.
