Union Square Donuts

Union Square Donuts was founded around 2012–2013 by Heather Schmidt and Josh Danoff, who began selling handcrafted donuts at Somerville farmers' markets before opening their first brick-and-mortar shop in Somerville's Union Square neighborhood. All glazes, jams, and toppings are made in-house daily using real, wholesome ingredients, and the shop has been repeatedly voted Best Donuts in Boston. The company has since grown to four locations across the greater Boston area, including outposts in Brookline and at Time Out Market Boston.
