Zyka: The Taste is a Hyderabadi Indian restaurant founded by Nooruddin Fazal, who opened the Decatur, Georgia location on May 10, 1997, after training at Mumbai's Oberoi Sheraton and the Oberoi Intercontinental in New Delhi. Fazal trademarked the dish name "Chicken 65" early in the restaurant's history, and Zyka's halal-certified menu of Hyderabadi specialties — including biryani and Behari kabob — earned an influential early review from Atlanta Journal-Constitution critic John Kessler that drove weeks of long lines and helped establish the restaurant as a generational Atlanta institution.
