Dolcezza on P Street in Georgetown has been my standard since 2016. The fig and walnut gelato is unlike anything else in the city. Come in the morning and pair it with their Stumptown coffee.

District Doughnut on Capitol Hill does the most thoughtful brioche donuts in DC. The Lemon Lavender is what I recommend to anyone visiting. Get there before noon on weekends.
