Long's Bakery

A northwest Indianapolis institution since 1953, Long's sells hand-glazed yeast donuts from a simple counter-service bakery that hasn't changed much since it opened. The glazed donuts are among the most talked-about in Indiana, with a thin, perfectly crackly glaze and a soft, fluffy interior that regulars drive across the city to get. Cash only, open early, and the line forms before the doors.
