Sanguich de Miami is the most decorated Cuban sandwich shop in America, earning Michelin Bib Gourmand awards in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Founded by Daniel Figueredo and Rosa Romero, the concept began as a pop-up at an art festival in 2015 before opening a brick-and-mortar location on Calle Ocho in Little Havana in 2018. The restaurant was also invited to the White House for Cuban Diaspora Day and is known for its week-long garlic-marinated pork Cuban sandwiches on house-made, additive-free bread.
