Smokin' Yards BBQ is a family-owned restaurant founded by Alan Yard and his three sons, originating in Idaho Springs, Colorado in 2008 before expanding to Denver's Santa Fe Art District at 900 W. 1st Ave. The restaurant won Westword's Best of Denver Award for Best Barbecue Restaurant in both 2021 and 2022, and is known for slow-smoked meats including Kobe brisket, beef ribs, and house-made gluten-free sauces.
