Tacos Chiwas

Tacos Chiwas was opened in 2016 by husband-and-wife duo Armando Hernandez and Nadia Holguin in a converted Dairy Queen drive-thru on McDowell Road in Phoenix, celebrating the Chihuahuan street food they grew up eating. Named using the affectionate slang for the Mexican state of Chihuahua, the restaurant has expanded across the Phoenix Valley and now includes a location in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
