The Vortex Bar and Grill

The Vortex Bar and Grill was founded on April 20, 1992, by siblings Michael, Hank, and Suzanne Benoit in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood, with a second location opening in Little Five Points on July 21, 1996, distinguished by its iconic Laughing Skull entrance. A strictly 21-and-over establishment, it has won numerous Best Burger awards from local and national publications for over-the-top creations like the Triple Bypass. In 2024, after more than 30 years of family ownership, the Taco Mac restaurant group acquired The Vortex.
