Titaya's Thai Cuisine opened in 2005 at 5501 N. Lamar Blvd in Austin's Hyde Park neighborhood, with a mission to serve authentic Thai food made from fresh ingredients at accessible prices. After seven years in business, the restaurant closed temporarily to expand and reopen in February 2014 in a renovated space. It has been recognized as a First Plates Hall of Fame winner by the Austin Chronicle and is regarded as one of Austin's most enduring Thai restaurants.
