Brothers Hong and Phong Tran built this northwest Houston landmark from a gas-station adjacent spot into a Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant that fuses Central Texas barbecue with Vietnamese culinary tradition. The pork ribs are beautifully tender and delicately smoked, while the signature dish, smoked brisket served over jasmine rice, has made the restaurant a crossover hit. The BBQ fried rice with brisket, Chinese sausage, fried egg, and green onion is its own revelation.
