Howlin Rays
Howlin' Ray's is a celebrated Nashville hot chicken restaurant founded in Los Angeles by chef Johnny Ray Zone, named after his late father and credited with launching the hot chicken craze in LA. The Las Vegas location opened in June 2025 inside The Venetian's Via Via food hall, offering Zone's signature Nashville-style chicken sandwiches in heat levels ranging from mild to Howlin' — a cayenne, habanero, ghost pepper, and red savina blend. Howlin' Ray's was named the No. 1 fried chicken spot in the U.S. and Canada by the Yelp Elite Squad.
